X + GDM, SLIM, etc. seem to be running multiple versions of themselves

Following a suspicious conky output, I decided to take a look at why there were 2 Xserver listings there:

5098 tty7     Ss+    0:08 /usr/bin/X -nolisten tcp vt07 -auth /var/run/slim.aut
5315 tty7     S+ 0:00 /usr/bin/X -nolisten tcp vt07 -auth /var/run/slim.auth

seems to be there twice, and this happens every time I restart/login. A similar group of lines appears as well when switching to gdm or the likes. I suspect it is the Xserver package from testing, but I am not sure. Is there a way to rectify this issue, or is this due to my own incompetence?

(More information

Arch 64, extra/xorg-server 1.4.0.90-13)

I hope that I am not inconveniencing anyone with this post.
