Hi,
I'm not sure at all if its the right forum. Somehow no forum really fits to my problem. I post here because the problem occurs in games... although the games themselves work. If another forum would be better, please tell me and move the thread.
Thats the problem: Playing warsow (fullscreen or windowed) and in ScummVM (fullscreen) the cursor permanently moves downwards. While moving the mouse upwards normally, the cursor only moves upwards very slowly. When I don't move the mouse the cursor jumps to the screen-bottom.
Affected games can't be played properly... e.g. the warsow avatar keeps staring at the floor. Aimed shooting is impossible.
Probably there is something wrong with the mouse-configurations? This is my xorg.conf.
Anyone an idea what could cause the problem?
Greetings, yodo

No I did not. Seems to be the same problem. I can approve that my problem is connected to evdev too. With mouse everything works fine - except of the extra mouse buttons.
But the workaround does not work for me. Or do I just use it the wrong way?
For using tvbrowser with compiz I also need such a "export...." workaround which I wrote into tvbrowser.sh. That works.
Writing the mouse-workaround into the "warsow" file does not work.
Edit: After just executing the workaround the problem vanished at least for scummvm. Thanks for that. ![]()
Afaik those "export" commands only effect the current session and must be loaded again after reboot/logging-off. ?

Yes though you should be able to have your DE load the line for you.
