Graphical interface problem

Notebook Hp dv2845se
Proc: amd turion x64 TL-62 X2 2.1ghz
nVidia mcp67 geforce 7150m [the real problem]

(==) Using config file "/etc/X11/xorg.conf"
(II) Module "ramdac" already built-in
(EE) Nvidia(1) failed to initialize the NVIDIA graphics device!

Waiting for X to shut down FreeFontPath: FPE "/usr/share/fonts/misc"refcount is 2, it should be 1; fixing.

what can i do solve this problem?

Re: Graphical interface problem

You need to provide more complete information before we can help.

What nvidia drivers are you using?  How did you create you /etc/X11/xorg.conf file?  Post it in a code block here.

Re: Graphical interface problem

Sorry...

started pre-instalation. [ok]

[all programs installed... kde!]
when started i got the drivers by pacman -S nvidia; got Xorg.
X -configure > mv xorg.conf.new  to /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Startx

then i got this problem:
(II) Module "ramdac" already built-in
(EE) Nvidia(1) failed to initialize the NVIDIA graphics device!
Waiting for X to shut down FreeFontPath: FPE "/usr/share/fonts/misc"refcount is 2, it should be 1; fixing.

...
nvidia-xconfig
startx

same problem.

hwd -x
xorg.conf.vesa, renamed xorg.conf
startx
the same problem.

LSPCI:
00:12.0 VGA COMPATIBLE: nVidia Corporation GeForce 7150M (rev a2)

Re: Graphical interface problem

Post the entire log...

Waiting for X to shut down FreeFontPath: FPE "/usr/share/fonts/misc"refcount is 2, it should be 1; fixing. <--- this line is meaningless... It happens in all installations, I've seen, working or non-working.
