Re: something similar to HTTP Interceptor for Linux?

hmm i've never dealt with http interceptor but i looked it up and it was some sort of http snooper deal.

pretty simple perl script, pretty old but it works perfectly - http://stein.cshl.org/~lstein/talks/WWW6/sniffer/

or if you wanna get more into it, check out ethereal

Re: something similar to HTTP Interceptor for Linux?

Thanks for the reply.

The perl scripts are interesting (and will be downloaded wink )...but not what I need.
I will look more at ethereal to see it can do what I need.

Packet sniffing is not what I am trying to do exactly. With http interceptor I could
use it as a proxy for any program that I wanted to see what that program was
sending and receiving.

I am wanting to watch a program's communication. To who and what was sent.

What about Wireshark with the applied filter of HTTP?

- "Cryptographically secure linear feedback based shift registers" -- a phrase that'll get any party started.
- My AUR packages.
- I use i3 on my i7.
