I have a strange deja vu sensation with it tongue

to explain better the situation I'll paste an example:

Re: pacman problem

Hi Marco,
It would be great if you could have all the messages in english.
Even if I leave close to Italy I am not fluent yet tongue

This can be done easily by running the following :

export LC_ALL="C"
pacman -S sonata

This locale change will remain local to the current terminal and be effective until you exit from the terminal.
Thank you very much !

Mandrake (2001) -> Debian (2002) -> Nasgaia (2003) -> LFS (2004) -> FreeBSD (2004) -> Gentoo (2005) -> Kubuntu (2006) -> Archlinux (2007) -> ?
Will Archlinux finally be THE distro of my dreams ? Time will say, but its on the way cool

Re: pacman problem

I just installed 'aterm' and installed some package with it (sonata and firefox) and the problem didn't showed up..
so I think there are two possibilities:
1) rxvt-unicode is buggy (but since is very used I dubt)
2) I'm missing some daemon and the terminal doesn't update correctly.

I don't have any daemon (except the default ones) installed actually, but I gave dbus a run and didn't help.
does anyone have a suggestion?
