hey guys,
I'm trying to set up my mic to work with teamspeak. I know my mic works because I can use alsa to record things and play them back. Now i just need teamspeak to work with the mic.
First I tried to run teamspeak and have it record my mic. I saved the file and then did aplay test.wav. aplay closes almost immediately and doesn't record anything
Next I tried doing aoss teamspeak. Again I had it record my mic and then played it back. This time the sound file was the correct length (ie, aplay didn't close immediately) but It didn't record anything.
I have a feeling that I need to tell aoss how to access my mic or something, but I have no idea how to do that. I tried to make a .asoundrc file in my home directory and add some stuff in their because it was recommended in the man page but that didn't seem to help.
Does anyone have any idea on what to do?
