Problem: CPU#0: Temperature above threshold

I'm running 2.6.6, when I start compile the Kernel
I'm getting a swamp of messages:

CPU#0: Running in modulated clock mode
        CPU#0: Temperature above threshold
CPU#0: Running in modulated clock mode
        CPU#0: Temperature above threshold
        [ ...endless... ]

Under Kernel 2.24.25 i don't have this.

Now I have disabled CONFIG_X86_MCE_P4THERMAL
in Kernel 2.6.6 and i don't get the messages :-)

Do Anyone have any other Suggestions ?

Thanks,

Re: Problem: CPU#0: Temperature above threshold

it's not always the software - sometimes it's the hardware that fails working ok :-)
