suspend and cd mount

after i suspend to ram and load a cd my computer will freeze. i can hear the cd begin to spin and then the computer becomes non responsive. any idea about how to fix this? thanks

Do you get any error messages anywhere? Try 'dmesg' first, and then if that doesn't yield anything suspicious look at the other logs in /var/log/. I'm pretty sure I won't be able to solve the problem, but others will be helped by the posting of relevant errors (and if you google or search for the errors you might find the answer yourself!).
