hi,
ive just installed swiftfox with the installer, but my back/forward button on my mouse arent working properly, and internet banking sites dont allow my to access them!!
i have my xorg configured correctly for my mouse to work, as with all other browsers, back/forward works correctly!!
in my user agent in about:config, its set to firefox/2.0 which normally works to log into banks!

In my experience, Swiftfox has a lot of trouble. I had this one problem where I couldn't install any add-ons or themes, so I just make my own build of firefox to get the benefits without the troubles.
What kind of processor do you have? I might be able to make an optimized build of firefox for you.

Could you link to the information you used to create optimized firefox builds? Sorry for pulling the post offtopic.

Well, it used to be on the website for swiftfox, but it's no longer there. For my system, I modify CFLAGS and CXXFLAGS in /etc/makepkg.conf. I set the flags with "-O3 -march=pentium4 -mtune=pentium4 -mmmx -msse -msse2"
EDIT: Ninjaprawn, could you post the contents of your system's /proc/cpuinfo file?

Hmm. Well, the Intel Celeron processors are basically "budget" versions of the pentiums. Based on the information above, I would say that your processor is based off a Pentium4 core. Which helps me, since building it would use the same flags as a pentium4, so I'll just send the package I've already built. You can download the package here.
EDIT: Be sure to let me know if it works.

You're not supposed to extract it. You install it by running "pacman -U firefox-2.0.0.14-1-i686.pkg.tar.gz" as root.

I would guess so. You would do that by running "pacman -R $PACKAGE_NAME", where $PACKAGE_NAME is the name of the swiftfox package you installed.
