I like GImageView, but it isn't in Arch. Tried building it but got some errors. Might try it sometime later again...
So, the question goes: is there a good image viewer included in Arch?

image magik is also not too bad. though it has fallen behind some of the other veiwers out there in ease of use.

me too :-) - this tool is excellent: it can show pics of 19000x18000px in less than 5s (gimp needs about 70s to open such big pics)

Hey Zephirias, is xv in the arch repositories? I did a search and it did not turn up. I once tried xview thinking it was xv and was disappointed that it was not. I used to use xv on Unix, but I have not seen it in years.

This thread is from 2004! There are far more recent threads about image viewers. jonnym reopened it to pimp "his organization's" viewer. Closing before it gets too far.
