my laptop got switched off (battery had finished & i didn notice ) abruptly & when i restarted it gave error -
"unattached inode 243940"
...it says /dev/sda2 ( my main filesystem is on this ) is mounted to / as read only & it tells me to do
mount -n -o remount,rw / ... which i did but no effect
so basically i am not able to boot into linux since it gives same error each time

fsck
