Strange directories

After several cross mounts and umounts I`ve got strange directories in my /mnt

drwxrwxr-x 11 root users 65536 Jan 1 1970 sdb2
drwxr-xr-x 2 walker root 36864 May 24 23:25 sdc1
d????????? ? ? ? ? ? sdc5
d????????? ? ? ? ? ? sdc6
d????????? ? ? ? ? ? sdc7
d????????? ? ? ? ? ? sdc8

However I cannot see them or remove them by rmdir or by mc. I even cannot create new ones with the same names.
How to solve this?

Re: Strange directories

I would try something like rm -r /mnt , after unmounting everything.
I would investigate before on the causes before: what fs are you using? have you tried a fsck?

Re: Strange directories

No I didn`t, but after recover from hibernation problem disappeared, so it was just temporary fault.
However thank you. ;-)
