xps m1530 touchpad issue 2.6.25 kernel

I had used used the i8042nomux=1 kernel parameter to fix crazy touchpad issue in dell xps m1530 laptop but that problem seems to be back after kernel upgrade and the parameter is not solving the problem...
anyone knows how to solve?:(
