ok my epson c62 printer works fine with Ubuntu but I cannot get it to work in Arch I installed cups also installed Gutenprint and when I go to a page and try to print it it shows the print thing that pops up but the printer name is "postScript/default" I can't change it ( not sure if I am supposed to change it lol) and when I click on the properties next to the printer name it shows this " lpr ${MOZ_PRINTER_NAME:+'-P'}${MOZ_PRINTER_NAME}" so if I just let it do its thing to print it shows that it is printing but in reality my printer doesn't do anything do I have to add my printer and if so how do I do this?

Have you tried using commas and periods? </suggestions off>
No, really, have you tried to configure it via web interfase?
http://localhost:631/admin
Make sure you have CUPS running as a daemon.

ok when I try the web interface I get
Unable to connect
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at localhost:631.
* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.
* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Bon Echo is permitted to access the Web.
SO I am taking it that I have to open up that port now?
