web accelerator for linux ?

I am new to linux , i use GPRS to browse net since i cant get my hands on "BROADBAND"  .In windows i used to use "GOOGLE ACCELERATOR" which helped to increase browsing speed is there any similar thing in Linux or any tweaks to increase browsing speed in GPRS

The only trick I know applies to broadband, however there might be something similar for GPRS. Unfortunately I am not competent enough at this point to tell you.

thanks for the link ..... but it is for broadband similar to finerflu's link which is also 4 broadband .....
