epsxe has been updated... wait what?

For a while they looked like the DNF of emulators; always claiming they were active while not releasing any sort of info for the last 4 1/2 years.  While the Linux version isn't available yet, the very concept of them having a pulse caught my attention.

Fun fact, if you look at the rate and (negative) acceleration of their last couple releases,  the next projected release should happen sometime around June 2020.

Edit: obligatory Linkage

I just hope we will not have to wait another 4 years or so to see an updated linux version...

Anyway, this emulator just rocks smile along with Pete's XGL2 Plugin, it's a must-have.

looking at the wine application database it seems to run well (platinum)
of course I'm waiting too for a native linux version, even if it never worked for me -.-

Re: epsxe has been updated... wait what?

It feels like I grew up with epsxe. It's funny to see how one newspost is from 2003 and the next one is from 2008. On the other hand my mindset is, if you don't have time to develop epsxe any further let others do it and open up the source. They could have at least posted a status update in all these years.
