Hi there.. just installed a 64bit arch system now and i am quite happy so far.
Only wine is giving me a headache.. I used the official arch package on my 32bit arch system just fine.
Today i installed the bin32-wine package from aur, which installes the same version from repos using a 32bit chroot. But alltho it is exactly the same package, it is much slower.
And not only that, it also made my system reboot when trying to run a game... Several times games just stopped after a minute and i had to kill wineserver...
I didnt have any of these problems on the 32bit arch system. But i dont get it.. the libs are the same and the wine version is the same too...

Wine needs 32-bit libs, so look in /opt/lib32/ and ignore /usr/lib/

Ehm... bin32-wine wouldnt even run without 32bit libs, so obviously it finds them all alone ![]()
Its not that it wouldnt run at all, its just running slower and more unstable
