cups usb printer detected, but won't print

Even if the printer is on at boot, it won't print. It worked a couple days ago.
Related to 2.6.25?

dmesg:

usblp0: USB Bidirectional printer dev 2 if 0 alt 1 proto 2 vid 0x0557 pid 0x2006
usbcore: registered new interface driver usblp

I tried this.

Re: cups usb printer detected, but won't print

The computer has 2 usb ports on the back(laptop) if I plug the printer into the other port, it will work. Why is this?  It was working fine before.
