This is not a real problem but a little nuisance. After upgrading to kde-common-3.5.9-2, the graphic that was shown on the end session dialogue (the one that lets you choose between end session, reboot, turn off or cancel) is missing, instead the "default icon" appears. If I recall correctly there was some nice graphic there, Arch logo perhaps?
I also had some issues with kdm, but those were solved easily as I know where to look (/opt/kde/share/config/kdm) but I have no idea where the config for the end session dialogue could be. Any Clues?

After installing kde-common, pacman issues a short message about saving the file in question to .pacsave somewhere, but I don't recall where it saved to. You can probably install it again and watch for the message.

You could always do a find as root or via sudo, i.e.: "find / -iname *.pacsave". That will list all the files ending with .pacsave, if you didn't already know?

The image you are looking for should be '/opt/kde/share/apps/ksmserver/pics/shutdownkonq.png'.
It was removed from the kde-common-3.5.9-2 package.
I think it can be found in one of the new 'archlinux-themes-kde' or 'archlinux-themes-kdm' packages.

Thanks to all for the tips. Found shutdownkonq.png.old, renamed it to shutdownkonq.png and the graphic is there.
Also, it should be noticed that previous kde-common packages were about 120Kb while the last one is just 4Kb, so it seems artwork was moved to archlinux-themes as berbae says.

The real culprit now is kdebase, which renames the default KDE shutdownkonq.png to shutdownkonq.png.old. This will be updated soon.
In the meantime, the archlinux-themes-kde package has been updated and no longer overwrites shutdownkonq.png by default. The custom Archlinux shutdown pic must be enabled manually...for instructions, see:
