What about a new arch live pen test distribution?

Hi all, I've an idea and I'm looking for help from arch community.
Like explained in the topic, what about an arch x86 live cd based on backtrack tools? (the pentest tools can be installed with dependences on arch with no problems i think.)
Anyone want to partecipate? we need programmers, beta tester, designers.
there's a project on google groups, we can communicate using ML.
http://groups.google.com/group/archtrack
Thanks.

The install CD is actually just a regular live CD with an install script on it and some package files.

The same tool that can create the liveCD for the install can create systems to run off flash drives. IIRC there's a USB version of the new RC install disc somewhere...

have a look http://projects.archlinux.org/?p=archiso.git;a=summary

That's a good new, I think that i should integrate patched wifi drivers too. Anyone with a lot of spare time :-P ? We need a little site/hosting, any suggest? I'm sure we can use the install script for hd install so.

Hi homen3, got it downloading now. Going to be installed and tested on a 1Gb usb flash pen. Tested on a box with an Athlon Xp 2000 proc (1.6Gb), 512Mb Ram and an Nvidia gforce fx 5200 g/card.

I'll give some feedback. A live portable Arch is just what I need right now.

You can always try my archiso-live distro. Its modular and based on archiso scripts that I custom. Its more modular like slax now then the original version of it. I also have support for aufs and booting from usb. There is also a changes boot option so it can have save everything if your on a ext2 filesytem.

I hope this helps.

I'm working on a live cds based on Archlinux. http://godane.wordpress.com/
