cvsup

After building glibc-nptl from source, I noticed that cvsup makepkg seems to do a binary install. Where is the source for cvsup, if say, I wanted to build on a 586?

Re: cvsup

there used to be a i586 compiled version on server in one of the non listed (developer) directories.

building cvsup is not as simple as grabbing the source and compiling it. contact judd if to see if he will give you the low down on building cvsup.

Re: cvsup

cvsup is written in Modula-3, so it's somewhat non-trivial to compile.  You need to build and install the ezm3 compiler/libs first, then statically build cvsup.  That's why I pre-build it and package the binary for later builds with ABS.
