Hi there ppl.
I've got a question. What might be the problem that is causing a kernel panic when I'm trying to run the arch-ftp 2008.03 on vmware 6.0.4? Some module collapses very badly and I can't get the whole message redarding to the crash.
I have created a very simple VM with a few MB of ram and a SCSI disk. I don't know what might be causing this issue.
Slax, puppy and -post your distro name here- works perfectly, except for the archlinux 2008.03 ftp/base cd's.
Any suggestions? or any victims of this issue?
Greets.
--------------------
Important: I hit enter at the archboot prompt and the kernel on the VM collapses few seconds later. Might it be an ACPI issue? or may it be related to storage? I have no idea...

They say that if you play a Win cd backward you hear satanic messages. That's nothing! 'cause if you play it forwards, it installs windows.
