Re: Openbox Fonts

Do you want to change the font for the window decorations and menu? Install obconf.

Re: Openbox Fonts

I have obconf installed and the font (Bauhaus) is set, but isn't displaying.  It's using some other font.  I'm using the same font for GTK and it works fine.

EDIT--Openbox displays the font if I set it to bold or italic but not regular.

Re: Openbox Fonts

It might be that the theme is set up to use bold/italic fonts.

Re: Openbox Fonts

I used to have this problem with Lucida Sans and the Openbox OSD (it worked in menus and window titles, for some reason). Now it works, and I've no idea why. It's not the recent Openbox update, because I haven't installed it.

I have installed a few new fonts recently though, and my best guess is that it might have been a problem with one of the fonts.scale files, which was fixed when I installed the new fonts and regenerated it. But it really is just a guess. Worth a try, I suppose.

Re: Openbox Fonts

hey people I found out that something is bugged in the obconf fonts, I like the URW fonts so when I was selecting those, I would see a prieview of the font, but sometimes it doesnt match what is in the prieview...
like the URW Gothic font (the letter a has no hook at the top in the prieview), but when i apply it ther IS A HOOK at the top of the letter a.
its not matching the prieview
