Install on an iMac G3, No Video (ssh at boot?, drive image with ssh?)

I have just acquired an iMac Bondi which has a blown flyback transformer so it only works with the screen unplugged, and I have no Mac to VGA adapter (and I'd rather not buy one). It's the original one with the 233mhz processor and it has 96Mb of ram. Is there a way to install archPPC or any other distro for that matter without having video output? I have no other macs to do the install on and swap over the drive or anything.

The two ways I can think of are booting to a cd image with ssh enabled by default (do the ppc isos have this?) or copying over the drive image from someone with a similar mac. Anyone feeling really generous and want to do the install for me? tongue

Thanks in advance

edit: Forget it...I've shelled out £4.48 on ebay and got a VGA adapter. tongue I'm going to stick a 4GB CF card in it and use it to stream music (and possibly video) over the network.
