Arch linux animated logo

Hey everyone,

I decided to make an animated logo out of the arch logo.
It lacks sound and i don't shine in that department, so i was hoping someone was willing to create some nice whooshy sound effects.

I hope you like it. It's simple and clean, just like the real deal

you can select which version you want to look at directly below the movie. choose quicktime .mov there.

thnx everybody I appreciate your comments but doesn't anyone have any experience with audio?

hBd: I'm not making it longer because i designed it to be used in between tv shows or something. and i like it too much :-P

Mikko777: i made it in Nuke 5 from The Foundry, it's one of the best compositing packages i've ever seen.

finferflu: install the mplayer-plugin that should do it.

Beautiful work! A nice sound blurb would be nice, you're right. Something electronic, majestic and dignified.

This is getting funny. Even with the mplayer plugin I can't watch it. Buffering is always at 0%.

Excellent work you've done here! It's a really well made logo, the quicktime version works in mplayer too

I second Husio's notion for making an "Arch is the best!" logo:-)

OK, after a reboot I could finally see the video. Amazing indeed.
I suggest browsing CCMixter for some samples to attach to the clip.

Excellent work.

I'm not so sure it needs any sound. It reminds me of those animated logos you get at the beginning of feature films. The Orion one always used to be silent. I quite liked that.
