[SOLVED]kazehakase and java

Hi all,

Just a small problem with kazehakase, otherwise my browser of choice.  I seem to be having trouble with a particular website--luxurymotors.com-- that uses javascript for some of its functions.  Especially with a search, you can't define your search properly--you just get a search of all locations--and then can't advance to the next page of items.  It works fine in epiphany so I don't know what would be the difference.  Also, I was recently fooling around with Gentoo *cough, cough* and kazehakase works fine there with that website.  For now I've got both kazehakase and epiphany on my old laptop--not my ideal--and would prefer just one browser.  Any ideas??

Edit: I just found another site--mls.ca--that uses some kind of javascript for an accept button for the terms of the site and without that you can't enter your search--so there must be more that I will come across.  I guess I'll have to give up on kazehakase.

Edit:  I also tried kazehakase in debian *cough, cough* and it works fine there too????

Turns out that if you install firefox and then uninstall it, kazehakase works properly again.  Kind of clued in by the fact that Gentoo and Debian pulled in Firefox and Iceweasel as dependencies.  It must have something to do with a ~/.mozilla/firefox folder that gets left behind.  Kazehakase must need something in that folder.  Don't really care why, as long as it works.  If I would have had to leave firefox installed, it would have defeated my initial purpose of keeping a minimal system on my old t21 thinkpad.  Bye bye epiphany, hello kazehakase.

Edit: Actually, I removed the .mozilla/firefox folder and kaze still works.  Installing firefox must leave something else behind after its uninstalled.  Who knows what?  Don't know but at least it works now.

Edit: I wanted to see if I could reproduce these results so I installed kazehakase on another i686 machine I have Arch on and then installed firefox.  That did not help.  You have to install firefox first, then kazehakase and then uninstall firefox.  I also submitted a bug report upstream to the kaze folks as I doubt they planned to have people installing firefox just so they can use kazehakase!!
