how to see unused packages?

I want to clear my Archlinux...
I decieded to use gnome instead of KDE and I want to delete unused, kde and old programs...
(This system installed by another person)

1) how to see all installed packages?
2) how to delete all kde libs program packages?

Re: how to see unused packages?

1) pacman -Q or packages that explicitly installed pacman -Qe
2) pacman -Rns package
R -remove
n - nosave
s - recursive

you may want to try remove kdelibs with that command and if some packages need it put that packages in there smile

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

Re: how to see unused packages?

If you want to remove a program and all its dependencies do pacman -Rsc kde
that should remove all of kde. the c does cascading removal of dependencies.
