Request: Electric Fence

[devel: memory tool] Electric Fence

i would very much like to see such a package available, as it is very handy in helping you find hard to track memory problems.

Re: Request: Electric Fence

Thanks what I found as well, however, at the time it does not seem to be working.

Re: Request: Electric Fence

i know, the directory doesn't exist on that server anymore, just two debian repositories. after digging some more, i found this :

http://linux.maruhn.com/sec/electricfence.html

it has a billion mirrors of the latest version(s)

i wasn't able to make it work though, it worked fine on redhat9.0 (it came with it). i can compile it but it doesn't do what it is supposed to do. anyway, it would be a good little package to have.
