Is there a need for us to require specific versions of packages when the upstream does? Since we are rolling-release, and "pacman -Syu" is at the top of the list to solve a package problem, can't we do without >=/<=?
For some packages where the cases are different, i.e kernels and modules, it's understandable. But not every package is a special case aside from those in testing/unsupported.
I need real, proper pen and paper for this.
