Well, that's the prob. after makepkg -s. I know, Im an idiot and its something simple, but what? beta 3 by the way.
Im building as user, then type in su password...

makepkg -s uses sudo to run pacman to install the dependencies so you need to (a) set up sudo to let your user run pacman, then (b) use your sudo password when prompted, not the root password.
EDIT, second thought, are the dependencies in the main repos? or do they need to be installed seperately from AUR?
