Making a bootable iso from a dir full of files

Basically i want to make an arch boot disk, but with an extra dir in the root of the disk for scripts and files i always use after a fresh install.

I have copied everything from the arch install disk, made my mods, but i just cant make that bootable iso. Im thinking something along the lines of mkisofs, but dont know where to go from there. (google, man pages and the wiki havent helped)

You could make a partition, or whole disk, image.

You can find a nice list of programs for doing that here:

The day Microsoft makes a product that doesn't suck, is the day they make a vacuum cleaner.

But if they tell you that I've lost my mind, maybe it's not gone just a little hard to find...
