Hello,
I am going to buy a laptop and I would like to install Archlinux on it. The laptops I have in mind are the LG E500 S.AP23P and the LG E500 S.AP25P.
Has anyone successfully installed Archlinux on one of those laptops and had everything working?

I have one those, but i don't have installed arch yet. So, i´m wating some who did, like you.

I have made some research and it seems that every component is supported by Linux. I have already been told that everything runs with Ubuntu out-of-the-box. Therefore it will run too with Archlinux, although it may be necessary to install some drivers.

yes. and maybe some kernel compilation. It seems that the instalation of arch is very smooth on this laptop. The fact that all compenents are suported by linux is very important a big step for using arch on that. One more reason for me to install him.
