Can suspend be gotten to work in E17?

The current E17 has suspend and hibernate menu options, but they don't do anything. Why? Is this just Something That Doesn't Work Yet, or does it require something to be installed, or only work with hibernate-scripts rather than pm-utils?

Re: Can suspend be gotten to work in E17?

You have to edit /etc/enlightenment/sysactions.conf to get suspend and hibernate to work.

For example I changed:

action: hibernate /etc/acpi/hibernate.sh force

to:

action: hibernate /usr/sbin/pm-hibernate

Unfortunately the file is getting overwritten every time enlightenment is updated.

Why you do not use the hibernate.sh file to execute pm-hibernate? wink

yes, and notify me next time so I can fix it.
Now I know, I'll make sure it doesn't happen again.
