Hi everyone,
i have a little problem, the surround sound isn't working
the sound is working but this morning i tried to use another pair of speakers for the "rear" out
the sound card is an integrated card, VIA8237
┌(michelle)-(10:26:54)->
└(~)--> lspci -v | grep -i audio
00:11.5 Multimedia audio controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT8233/A/8235/8237 AC97 Audio Controller (rev 60)
the surround device is there, but i cant get it to work
i tried the speaker test
speaker-test -Dplug:surround51 -c6 -l1 -twav
front left and front right are okay
and if set in the mixer to mix rear to front and center/lfe to front
its okay but in the front channel only
