mounting cd / dvd's

hi,

i was wondering if anyone knows a decent and easy way for cd / dvd's to be mounted automatically??

im fine with using the mount command, but its not the most convienient! hal worked fine in my kde days, but with fluxbox, its useless!

any ideas or advice would be appreciated!
