I tried gnomebaker to write some files in re-writeable dvd for backup purpose and then saved the project so that I can later add more files to the cd. But now after opening the project file, when I click "import session" and select the drive, gnomebaker hangs indefinitely. Somewhere I found that I need to add "ro" in fstab's dvd section. So, my fastab's dvd line looks like this:
/dev/dvd /mnt/dvd iso9660 ro,user,noauto,unhide 0 0
Could someone suggest how to get gnomebaker working with multisession or if there are other better options, k3b (this is marked outdated) or nerolinux (this is in unsupported and unsafe, also it needs "activation code" to get it working).

There are only 3 minors bugs fixed in the newest version of k3b, install the one in the repos and try. k3b is regarded as one of the best burning apps.
You might also try Brasero, if you're a GTK/Gnome fan.

k3b did the job pretty fine. It not only read the session created by gnomebaker but also added the files to it and that too without any labor in settings, etc. great app.

Sorry for OT, but why ver. 1.0.5 didn't hit the [extra] repo???

Some packages are left outdated, probably that's the motivation for bringing in more package managers.
