[proposal] Xinput enabled xserver?

I was just wondering if it was possible to get an Xinput enabled xserver as I don't know if the points outlined in the mailing list thread:
http://archlinux.org/pipermail/arch-dev … 05248.html

are correct anymore, atleast for me, everything is working correctly with a cordless (norwegian keymap) keyboard and an usb mouse and i was just wondering if it worked correctly for other people aswell(in that case chime in) in which case we could perhaps enable the Xinput goodness again! big_smile

For those who want to try see: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xor … otplugging and perhaps try the most recent xserver..

The advantages of which not mentioned in the mailing list thread that I experience is I now get "keyboard focus" in many apps in wine which i didn't get before and it seems i don't get the keyboard glitches around the DE that i used to...

Not to mention you don't have to decode the arcane xorg.conf language just to get the keys and mouse working properly! big_smile

What's up with all the [proposal]  the last 2 days?

Anyway; bugs.archlinux.org  is the place to post feature requests, in most cases.
