Hi,
I have the following soundcard, which seems to work OK....
936 carl@moschops ~ ]$ cat /proc/asound/cards
0 [Audigy2 ]: Audigy2 - Audigy 4 [SB0610]
Audigy 4 [SB0610] (rev.0, serial:0x10211102) at 0xb800, irq 22
1 [UART ]: MPU-401 UART - MPU-401 UART
MPU-401 UART at 0x330, irq 5I'm outputting it into a stereo amplifier via the 'front' speakers output. This is fine for stereo sources, I get left and right channels, and I can play music. However, if I'm using an application (such as a game) that has 6 channel output, because the 'rear' and 'centre/sub' outputs from the soundcard are not hooked up, I can't hear those channels.
Is there any way to 'downmix' the sound so I can hear all the channels through my stereo amplifier?
any help appreciated
cheers!

ttable.2.0 1
ttable.3.1 1

}and configure your apps to use "6to2ch" as output device

What game is this, that doesn't have the ability to output stereo?
