Macbook GRUB issues

I installed Arch on my MacBook (Core Duo) and it all seemed to work fine. I am dualbooting OS X so i have 4 partitions. After the install finished i ran gptsync from rEFIt and it didnt report anything, but when i went to boot, I got a black screen.

So i was instructed to follow this guide

http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Rei … _Install_C

when i did "grub-install /dev/sda3" it said there wasn't any corresponding BIOS drive.

Re: Macbook GRUB issues

Have you checked if your partitions are ok?
Try to do an

fdisk /dev/sda

then press ' p ' to see if all the partitions are in the right place.
Sometimes strange things happen with partition names, that's why the new release of arch use UUID instead of sda/hda names, I think.
