Install nspluginwrapper after you build it (pacman -U <pkgfile>)
Offline
I wasn't working with the PKG file, I was using the tarball.
Offline
bash-3.2# cd nspluginwrapper
bash-3.2# makepkg --asroot
<makepkg output>
bash-3.2# cd nspluginwrapper-flash
bash-3.2# makepkg --asroot
You need to run "pacman -U nspluginwrapper-0.9.91.5-3-x86_64.pkg.tar.gz" to actually install the nspluginwrapper package you just built using makepkg...
Offline
OK, nearly there. Everything went fine up until this:

Yes, I seem to have this too, I think it started after firefox 3, but maybe a coincidence. You could try removing mplayer-plugin and the openoffice sym link. Does this prevent flash from working for you? Maybe there is another thread about mplayer-plugin.
Offline
I can see how mplayer-plugin is somehow related to this issue but as for openoffice I'm rather confused?
Offline
I had a similar error with Flash 10 and nspluginwrapper. Flash still works on almost every website I've tried, and Flash 10 is way faster on my box than swfdec or gnash have been; it's also stable and responsive.

This is normal. It looks like everything is installed properly.
Well when I visit YouTube or any other site using Flash in FireFox 3 the videos fail to load and says plugin missing.

the errors in nspluginwrapper output are perfectly normal, as nspluginwrapper looks for 32bits plugins, yet it should list flashplugin in the middle, like this:
$ nspluginwrapper -v -a -i

Ended up installing swfdec which is working great. Gnash didn't seem to work.
