Opera fails to set up pango stuff for 32-bit plugins, which results in the problem known from early RealPlayer experience on 64bit linux: the dreaded [][][][][][][][][][][][][] - all pango-rendered text appears as boxes. If you right click a flash control in Opera 9.50 64bit, the menu that pops up has the damned boxes.
I copied the pango incantations from the RealPlayer launch script and it fixed flash's RMB menus in Opera (which also means that I do have all the required lib32-stuff), but now guess what happens whenever Opera launches a 64bit GTK application via a file association, yup, [][][][][][][][][][][]. Aaaaargh!
