First let me apologize as this is more of a rant than constructive. I've noticed over a recent set of updates both in Arch and Arch64 there have been minor changes causing issues across the board. My list includes Nvidia drivers freaking out after an update late last week in Arch64, I've also noticed on regular Arch an update this week killed both Firefox and the ability to use or compile Google Gadgets due to some issue in Seamonkey. I have seen posting about the Nvidia drivers and the flame coming from what I assume is the maintainer if that driver. I also dropped into irc using a CLI client to seek help with my Nvidia issues only to be told I needed to post the error on the forum, which to this point has been difficult. I mention this in the hopes that things can get kicked in gear and someone will take a look as a whole as to how things are being implimented. I work for an IT company and recently created a virtual server using Arch64 and Virtualbox, Since my own experiences I've halted all updates to this server until things level out, I'd hate to have to switch things up at this point in the game. Thank you.

While I have no experience with the 64-bit flavor of arch, I have updated both Nvidia drivers and Firefox over the past week on my 32-bit arch box with no problems. I'm no linux guru, but there are some serious pros on this board, so post what happened and see where it takes you. I've never had a problem this board couldn't solve.
Thanks for staying positive.
