direct rendering

hi im using arch 2008.06 and trying to set up me ati radeon hd 2600 pro agp catalyst through

pacman -S catalyst

and when i use the

glxinfo | grep direct

command it givs

direct rendering: No (If you want to find out why, try setting LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose) OpenGL renderer string: Mesa GLX Indirect

i tryed to use

LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose glxinfo > /dev/null

but nothing happens will someone help me with this

Take a look at the wiki if you haven't already. There is a section just for direct rendering issues with ati cards.   http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/ATI … n.27t_Work
