Downloaded wrong Image

Hi,
I downloaded the USB Img instead of the cd img and the only USB drive I have is a sansa clip and it is not possible to lay my hands on another one. I do not mind losing the files in the sansa clip but I just want know if dd will destroy the music playing functionality as there are some files there which have a DO NOT MODIFY OR DELETE warning.

Re: Downloaded wrong Image

If your player stores its firmware somewhere else the music player functionality should not be affected. Just find out where it stores the firmware and you're good to go (or not).

Re: Downloaded wrong Image

I just DD'd to my player and installed arch from it. Then reformatted the player and started up again and the files needed were automatically regenerated!
