Re: July 2008 Screenshots

Looks good!

This week, it's plain Gnome for me:

screenshot168.png.xs.jpg

GTK/Metacity: Elegant-Evi
Icons: Powered (available with Elegant-Evi)
Fonts: anorexia (GTK), Terminus (documents, monospace)
Wallpaper: Ice Comet (from gnome-look.org)

To tell the truth, though, this looks pretty but it's too damn bright to be useful. The Elegant Cold Blue theme works better.

Re: July 2008 Screenshots

I thought my last screenshot would be it, but it isn't. This is the new one, featuring Foxkeh! I am also now using the full fireball theme with the Crude GTK theme. smile

Yes from AUR, but you need to modify stuff from the PKGBUILD, first i compiled cmake myself (if i remeber well, the version specified as a dependency in the PKGBUILD was higher than the one provided by pacman). And also changed the PKGBUILD of the xcb-utils dependency, you must use the git repo from freedesktop.org not the one from naquadah.

Yes, thanks, it worked. I reread the instructions in AUR and it compiled. Now I can tweak all those settings in awesomerc. Nice!

XFire, I'm not sure if your asking me, but I will respond just in case.

The icon set was found in AUR and is called gartoon-redux-icon-theme. I just found them yesterday and love them.

Firefox 3 can use your GTK theme. There might be a good dark one? I stopped caring.
