[SOLVED] New to Arch - do you use MD5 hashes for your ISO releases?

Hello all,

I've decided that I'm going to give Arch a go because I like the philosophy behind it and I like tinkering. I've used a number of distros in the past and after I was burnt one time I've since made it part of my routine to check MD5 hashes of any ISO I've downloaded. I recently grabbed an Arch i686 ISO via a torrent.

I've done some searching around but I can't seem to find where the MD5 hashes may be kept - only some old forum posts discussing whether 'MD5 is dead' etc.

Thanks in advance.

Pedro.

http://mirror.rit.edu/archlinux/iso/200 … 5sums.i686
http://mirror.rit.edu/archlinux/iso/200 … ums.x86_64

They should be included on every mirror along side the isos.

Just look for md5sums.i686 or md5sums.x86_64 in the directories.
