GDM displays file name instead of name specified

I just can't figure out what's wrong with it. GDM displays wmii.desktop as the name for my wmii session even though the name is set to just wmii. All others display fine. Look:

cat /usr/share/xsessions/openbox.desktop

[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Name=Openbox
Comment=Log in using the Openbox window manager (without a session manager)
Exec=/usr/bin/openbox-session
TryExec=/usr/bin/openbox-session
Icon=openbox.png
Type=XSession

cat /etc/X11/sessions/wmii.desktop

[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Name=Wmii
Comment=window manager improved 2
Exec=/usr/bin/wmii
TryExec=/usr/bin/wmiiwm
Type=XSession

Why does it display the filename instead of the name specified in it ?

Also, where should I keep my xsession files ? /etc/X11/sessions or /usr/share/xsessions ?

The day Microsoft makes a product that doesn't suck, is the day they make a vacuum cleaner.
