[Solved] Samsung Q45 freezing at: Loading Udev uevents

Hi,

I'm trying to get arch going on a Samsung Q45. When I try any of the recent kernels arch freezes when trying to load udev uevents, with the kernel 2.6.21.1-8 it boots normally. I've tried the suggestions already put forward for similar problems, adding usbinput to the Modules line of /etc/mkinitcpio.conf and adding hpet=disable as a kernel param in grub, but no joy. Can anyone help?

Ne'er mind, why is it as soon as you post you find a working solution?

Answer: blacklist the video module, so add !video to the MODULES array in /etc/rc.conf
