2.6.25-10 eth1394 not create eth interface

Hi all. currently I am running Arch in my IBM thinkpad X31 with firewire on it.

my current kernel is 2.6.25-10, and I want to connect my x31 to my desktop with tcpip over firewire.

I have blacklist the new firewire stack (Juju) in rc.conf

and load the ieee1394 and eth1394 module manual. but I dont see the new interface that
create by eth1394 module.

is there anyone else using this module?

Never mind, yesterday I install a new arch on my z61p, also has firewire, it works fine.

seems it is a hardware problem or the config problem. I will take a look when I has time.
