[SOLVED] no UUID for /

I just noticed that in the /dev/disk/by-uuid directory, the partition mounted on / isn't listed.
There are no particular problems, and I can obtain the UUID with blkid, but I'm curious to know how are generated the links in that directory and how can I have all of them.

EDIT: I've found out that udev is responsible for the symlink creation, executing /lib/dev/vol_id - I still don't understand why it's missing one partition...

SOLVED: it was obviously my fault smile
I cloned the first partition with Arch on the second partition, and now they have the same UUID, so one of them doesn't show up anymore.
